Phillip Michalak has spent over 15 years quietly serving the Vero Beach community, long before Oakside had a name.
His path here ran through the oil and gas industry, working TWIC-cleared job sites across the country, from the Gulf Coast to Alaska. Closing out his run in Alaska was one of the great honors of his career, and the discipline, safety standards, and precision required in that industry shaped how he runs every job today.
Now he's home. Oakside is Phillip bringing that same standard of accountability and craftsmanship back to the community that raised him, this time on the home turf he knows best.

How does membership work?
You pick a plan based on how much support you need. Each includes a set number of visits and hours per month, and unused hours roll over so you're not losing what you don't use.
What if I'm away for the summer?
Put your membership on Snowbird Hold for $10/month. You stay a member without paying full price while you're gone, and can add Summer Watch to have your property checked in on until you return.
What's included in Summer House Watch?
Two property walkthroughs a month, a photo report after each visit, hurricane prep, and pre-departure and pre-arrival checks. Built for homeowners who are away May through October and want eyes on the property without hiring a full-time caretaker.
Do I have to be a member to get service?
No. One-off visits are available at $120 plus $70/hour. Members get priority scheduling, waived show-up fees, and lower effective rates.
What kind of work do you handle?
Repairs, upgrades, maintenance, and concierge requests like furniture assembly or fixture swaps. If it's not something we handle directly, we'll tell you upfront and point you to who can.
How fast can you respond?
Members get priority scheduling. Same-day and after-hours service is available for an additional fee.
Is Phillip licensed and insured?
Yes. Phillip brings 10 years of TWIC-cleared work across the oil and gas industry, including projects in Alaska, and holds himself to that same standard on every home he services now.
